The Brain Profile

Open the pathways

The brain is made up of tiny cells called neurons that transmit information to other cells within the nervous system giving your body tasks to perform, that coordinate thought, emotion, behavior, movement and sensation. In fact everything you do stems from your brain cells, from telling us if we're hungry, to pumping blood from our hearts, regulating our temperature and storing memories.

We have so much unused potential even without imabalances. So my aim is to allow you to rebalance areas of the brain that have an energetic disturbance / kink in its pathways, be it from stress, a physical accident, an emotional trauma and or prolongued dietary deficiency. These don't even need be diagnosed symptoms, but may just show up like you're not performing at your best, experience lack of clarity, or even the opposite, have gone into overdrive.

How do we do this?

By using the EMF's to stimulate healing to occur by opening the pathways allowing neural messaging to flow uninterrupted you create equilibrian within the brain.

In other words, the correct part of the brain that is necessary for you to act and function for the task you are presented with is fully engaged and supporting you to perform at ease and at fullest potential without struggle.

Your particular brain wave frequency is vital to your functioning. If you are stuck in a brain wave that is conflicting to what you are trying to do in that moment it can create a fair amount of unwanted stress, physically and emotionally. By scanning to see which brain wave you are in; Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta we can establish if that particular brain wave is a conducive or conflicting state for you at that time. Read my article Reshape your Brain.

Do you find it hard to concentrate and jump from one thing to the next without getting much completed? Difficulty listening to instructions, unable to organise yourself efficiently, fidgety or talk too much? Or maybe you are just feeling mentally burnt out and exhausted from trying to do too many things at once? ADD / ADHD are very common imbalances but can easily be reattuned with Biofeedback. Studies shown in Journal of Child Neurology that Biofeedback could improve executive function - read more.

You use your frontal lobes countless times during the day, to make decisions; the how's, where's and when's of planning daily tasks. It is also vital for our communication, being able to speak fluently (without fault) and meaningfully and it is largely where our personality is formed. The parietal lobes processes sensory information, letting us taste, sense temperature and experience touch.

The temporal lobes processes your auditory capibilties, allowing you to comprehend and understand meaningful speech. In fact, we would not be able to understand someone talking to us, if it wasn't for the temporal lobe. The occipital lobes are responsible for processing visual information received by our eyes so we can understand what we're seeing.

The left and right sides of the brain do mirror each other, but they do entirely different jobs. The left side operates your academic, logical and mathematical processing and controls the right side of your body and the right side of your brain governs your artistic, creative awareness and intuitive insights and controls the left side of your body.

Once we've re-established the balance with the electromagnetic frequencies on the elements above we can go on to make a number of changes. We can stimulate specifc dis-eases, or the anatomy of the brain. Studies have shown an enhancement of cognitive abilities; heightened learning due to an improvement of concentration levels; the receptivity of information absorbed and held within the cortex. Symptoms of PTSD are eased by stimulating the hippocampus, amygdala, and medial prefrontal cortex, easing emotional responses and aiding communication within our relationships and ultimately improving daily life.
